Throughout my high school years, my job after school was working at a retirement home. I was required to view for my residents, feed them and spend quality time with them talking, watching TV, reading, etc. Unfortunately when I reached my senior year I had to leave due to hours and trying to apply for colleges. It was one of the most hurtful moments because my residents had now became my family. I absolutely enjoyed walking in and seeing their smiling faces ready to play UNO or watch a series of a show. I was never able to meet any of my grandfathers or grandmas, which caused me to become very attached to them and love them as if they were mine.
