I have a BS in Business and education is a high priority for me with any of the children I nanny for. I am a non-smoker and I have a CPR / First Aid certification as well as a valid driver's license/ safe driving record. I have extensive previous child care experience with newborn and older and I love pets (esp. dogs). I have my own 4 children who I have raised (3 of which are triplets). I am also a foster parent for teens. In the past, I have been responsible for dropping off and pickup of kids from school, preparing light healthy meals and snacks, homework help, errands, light housework, play-dates, play time supervision, reading books, bath/bed time. I love making crafts, art projects, coloring, drawing, playing board games or preparing performances. I love taking children outdoors for walks, to the parks, library, museums or aquatic/community centers. I love to have fun but I believe it to be extremely important to balance fun with education in a nurturing and safe environment.

We had Shanna as a nanny/part of our family for 5 years and I cant imagine my kids growing up without her. She was a great role model and helped me juggle an awful schedule so i could still spend time with all 3 of my kids. She was in charge of everything I would have been in charge of if I had been home. We basically co-raised my kids. She made being a single mom a lot easier . She cleaned up after the kids and taught them values to live by. It was comforting to leave them with someone I trusted would uphold the beliefs I want them to live by. Our communication was key and she was never afraid to tell me if the kids were misbehaving, had problems at school, or required extra attention. Sadly, once all the kids were of school age, we could no longer employ her full time. She still sends birthday cards to all the kids and keeps in touch. an A+ Nanny!
