About Shanerra

I am a responsible, faith-based childcare provider who believes children thrive when treated with respect and as partners in learning and fun. I create safe, structured, and engaging environments without exposure to inappropriate language or social media. My experience includes volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters, Dream Center NYC, local church programs, and helping my mother as a teen in childcare. I've always loved babies and kids -- playing, crafting, and creating fun activities -- and my hospitality background has taught me to stay calm under pressure, be attentive, and support families thoughtfully. I am warm, relational, and grounded, seeking part-time or recurring care with a kind family where children can explore, learn, and thrive. I prioritize privacy and am fully present during care. I enjoy activities that inspire creativity, learning, and growth -- like crafting, reading, and exploring new experiences. I love self care, cooking, and volunteering in my community.
