About Luisa

Hi! I'm Luisa, a bilingual (English/Spanish) 33-year-old news producer based in NYC. Covering breaking news across the country and abroad has taught me to stay calm under pressure, think on my feet, and handle responsibility with confidence. I also hold a Master's degree in International Human Rights Law from the University of Oxford, where I focused on children's rights. I have experience caring for children and spend lots of time with my goddaughter and nieces. I love reading, arts and crafts, museums, outdoor adventures, and educational activities, and enjoy creating fun, engaging experiences that help kids learn and grow. I've volunteered with Make-A-Wish and Big Brothers Big Sisters, tutored children through a YMCA after-school program, and supervised a youth community service club. I have also completed Hostile Environment & First Aid Training (HEFAT). I'm warm, dependable, energetic, and genuinely enjoy helping children learn, explore, and have fun.
