About Shane

I am an experienced educator and mentor with over five years of supporting students in classrooms, camps, and competitive academic programs. I'd describe my personality as creative, personable, and witty. I love tutoring because it can transform a students confidence in themselves. I'm looking for a long-term job that allows me to develop a mentor type relationship with a student. I have worked in education for 5 years. I have worked as a public speaking coach, guitar teacher, and acting coach during that time. In my spare time at home I study the guitar, cook, and read. When I'm outside, I like to go to new national parks, cities, or even a new restaurant. One thing you should know about me is that I come from a background where familial support has been paramount. Being from a single parent household, I know firsthand what good familial support can do for a family in need. Public speaking coaching and preparation, acting coaching, and early guitar teaching.
