About Shanel

Hi, I'm Shanel! I'm a nurturing, patient, and dependable caregiver who loves helping children learn, grow, and explore. I'm a mom to my goddaughter, Brielle, who has lived with me full-time since birth, giving me firsthand experience raising a little one. I'm a Sunday school teacher working with children under 9 and captain of my church's dance team, where I work with children and teens ages 1-17. I enjoy reading, music, dancing, creative play, and age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, confidence, and development. I believe children deserve more than supervision. They deserve attentive, loving care in a safe environment where they feel valued and supported. I'm also a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with professional caregiving experience and CPR and First Aid certifications. I'm happy to assist with children's routines, meals, playtime, and keeping their spaces tidy. My goal is to give parents peace of mind while ensuring their children feel safe, happy, and cared for.
