About Shamelle

Hi! My name is Shamelle, but everyone calls me C. I've loved working with youth since I was a teen -- the village nanny! I've served as a youth counselor and chaperone with CCP and Temple University, and taught as an infant teacher at Kid Academy for 2 years, guiding five little ones daily. These experiences sharpened my intuition, flexibility, and ability to connect in meaningful ways. I don't believe in just babysitting -- I believe in cultivating connection, respect, and impact. I also help raise my nephews and cousins, cooking, teaching, and holding space for them to be their full, authentic selves. I believe every child deserves space to feel, learn, and grow -- emotionally, spiritually, and creatively -- while discovering their God-given purpose.
