About Shamel

Hi! My name is Shamel, and I'm a nursing major at the University of Miami. I currently tutor student-athletes on campus and previously tutored elementary school students through my high school in Maryland. As a nursing student, I have developed strong skills in math and science and am comfortable working through challenging material. I have also always been strong in English, literature, and reading. I enjoy helping students understand difficult topics, build confidence, and improve their grades. I'm patient, dependable, and always willing to explain things in different ways to make sure each student truly understands the material.
