About Shalom

Raised in a close-knit family of nine, I grew up immersed in early childhood development thanks to my Montessori-trained mother, who shared her expertise with me from a young age. When my mother passed away, I stepped into the role of guardian for my youngest sister at just 21, raising her through high school graduation and putting everything my mother taught me into daily practice. I went on to build a successful career in IT and software, which has equipped me uniquely. I bring a genuine love of creative problem-solving and tech savvy into my work with children, and appreciate the nuances that children in this generation will face. I'm especially passionate about introducing STEAM concepts in fun, age-appropriate ways. I combine Montessori-inspired principles, real-world caregiving experience, and a nurturing mindset to help children grow into curious, confident thinkers.
