About Heather

With over 10 years of professional childcare experience and 21 years of hands-on parenting experience as a mother of two daughters (now ages 16 and 21), I bring a deeply nurturing, seasoned, and intuitive approach to caregiving. My background includes working as a nanny for infants, serving in the Metro school system as a substitute teacher, and working as a teacher's assistant at Montessori East. I also have more than a decade of experience supporting children, teens, and adults with special needs, giving me a broad range of skills in individualized care, emotional support, and adaptive communication. I am CPR and First Aid trained, have reliable transportation, and have proudly called East Nashville home for nearly 25 years. As someone with a degree in Visual Arts, I bring creativity, imagination, and a love of art, music, and nature into my work with children. I am highly organized, calm under pressure, and skilled at maintaining a grounded, regulated presence in all situations.
