Hello, families! My name is Shakuntala but I go by Shaku, I've been married for 29 years and raised two children. I love traveling, skydiving and horse back riding. I've been in childcare for 30+ years. I have an Early Childhood Education and am certified in infant and child first-aid and CPR. I worked in day care as a toddler teacher & enjoyed its challenges. I opened up my own in-home preschool. We did everything from science, art & cooking projects. We also learned the days of the week, writing and basic math. It is wonderful to see how much fun children can have with learning! I'm able to provide top-notch fun indoors & outdoors. She consistently asked for my guidance about almost every part of her work, which showed her genuine care for following my preferences and ensuring my child’s comfort. She maintained a high standard of safety at all times, and I truly appreciated her attentiveness. While I was at home, I could hear my daughter laughing frequently as they played together. My daughter especially loved the craft projects and toys that she brought, which made their time together even more enjoyable. Because she’s so experienced with childcare, she was also able to share some helpful advice with me. Overall, she is reliable and caring.
