About Jessica

Hello, I am a former preschool teacher of 27 years I taught Head Start and later became a Developmental Therapist. I have many years of CPR and First Aid training. I am a Mom and Nana. I like working with kids because I enjoy being around children. They make me be a better person. Their happiness, laughter, and excitement of reaching milestones is so special to me. I'm looking for a job that will help a family reach and achieve goals, not just for the children, but for the entire family as a whole. I started working with kids when I was 17, as I became a mother young. Later becoming a Head Start teacher when I was 23. So 27 total years. My skills include recognizing a child's potential. Potty training is very important, and also eating a good meal. Working on milestones for their age. Children need patience, genuine attention love and support. Adequate rest and good health are important for children to thrive. A routine is also beneficial for their development.
