About Shaina

Hi! I'm Shaina, a pre-nursing student at Goodwin University in East Hartford with plans to become a pediatric nurse. I have 5 years of experience working with children ages 2-6 as a camp counselor at a school in West Hartford, where I supervised swimming, led games and activities, and cared for kids with a variety of needs. During the school year I work at the same school as a substitute teacher and extended-day staff member. I've also been babysitting for a local family for the past year and a half with children ages 6 and 10, helping with transportation to activities, homework, meals, household tasks, and bedtime routines. I currently babysit for them on Tuesdays and Thursdays and am looking to fill my schedule on other days. I care deeply about creating a safe, supportive, and fun environment where kids can learn and grow.
