About Renae

Hello families! My name is Renae! My experience working with kids started from a young age of my own, as I began a peer mentoring program at my elementary school when I was a third grader paired with a kindergartener. I continued to feel fulfilled by working with the younger generation, as I went on to work as a summer day camp counselor for kids ages 3-5. This early experience sparked a lifelong passion for supporting and understanding children, leading me to embrace opportunities to babysit my cousins' little ones, ranging in ages of 10 months to 3 years. In every role, from mentor and camp counselor to family babysitter, I've embraced the philosophy that every child I care for becomes part of my extended family. To me, this means nurturing their growth, celebrating their individuality, and providing a safe, loving environment, just as I would for my own relatives.
