About Shaina

My passion for education started in high school, where I began tutoring middle school students through the National Honor Society - and I've never looked back. In college, I deepened that commitment as a Teaching Assistant for Organic Chemistry, guiding university students through one of the most challenging courses in any science curriculum. For the past three years, I've had the privilege of serving as a homeschool teacher on the beautiful island of Kauai, building personalized, engaging learning experiences for the children in my care. My background in neuroscience gives me a unique lens for understanding how kids learn, and I bring that knowledge into every session. Above all, I believe every child has the potential to thrive - they just need the right support, encouragement, and someone who genuinely believes in them. That's what I show up to do every single day.
