About Kimberly

I am a lifelong learner and enjoy teaching very much. My strongest subjects are math, science, reading and writing. I am happy to also give general advice on how to study and take tests - I have several tips and tricks! I have experience tutoring with Mathnasium, helping students with SAT prep, and running afterschool lego and science experiment classes for elementsry school kids. I was also a genetics teaching assistant while in college. I'm very patient and will work with you and your child to set realistic goals to get them feeling confident in whatever subject they're struggling in! This could look like making flashcards, drawing/acting out concepts together, reading the textbook, reworking missed questions on past tests, going over homework, and learning how to take organized notes in class and how to study notes. I have degrees in Biology and Pharmacy. I can't wait to meet you all. Please reach out.
