About Shafaq

Unlocking your child's unique potential is the cornerstone of my teaching practice. As a Certified teacher with two years of experience, I specialize in guiding elementary students through Math and English by fostering confidence rather than rote memorization. I assess each learner by observing how they interact with new material, allowing me to tailor my methods--whether through visual aids or hands-on activities--to their specific needs. I keep students engaged by connecting complex concepts to their personal interests and breaking challenges into manageable, successful steps. I believe that open communication with families is essential to building the trust necessary for academic growth. Seeing a student's confidence flourish as they master a new skill is the most rewarding part of my work. I look forward to partnering with you to help your child discover the joy of learning.
