Hi, I am a special education teacher and currently hold a State of Michigan Teaching Certificate. I specialize in teaching students that learn differently and struggle academically. I have been teaching for 20 years and I have been tutoring for about a year. My experiences range from kindergarten to teaching high school students. Through the years, I have worked with students on the autism spectrum, ADD/ADHD, learning difficulties, cognitively impaired and students with emotional needs. I work one-on-one with students in order to meet their individual educational needs. I focus my educational philosophy to meet the needs and teach all children.** I am now tutoring high school students to prepare for the new 2016 SAT college readiness exam. I teach strategies for success, reduce anxiety, practice actual problems and familiarize them with standardized exams. **If your child hates homework, lacks confidence, struggles academically... look no further...
