I have over 25 years of experience teaching and working with children. I am the oldest of 4 sisters so being a care taker has always come naturally! I've worked for Challenger and Stratford schools in their preschool/Pre K and kindergarten programs. I can help with Light Housekeeping and Swimming Supervision. I'm great with dogs as I have a little one at home! I have been described as loving and patient with children. A few things I like to do with children is read books, play games, and be active!

Serene was great. She was very flexible with our schedule (we were at a wedding, so didn't know the exact time we wanted to start having care). we gave Her a time we thought we'd need care, and she was ready to go then, and ok that we were a little late. She was very sweet and our 14mo warmed right up to her. We had zero qualms having her take care of our baby even though we had never met prior to the day she baby sat for us! would recommend 10/10.

Serene was excellent with our 14 month old! We are so glad to have her sit our son. Our son was comfortable with her immediately. Serene was great. Our son absolutely loved spending time with her. She was early and is very responsive with updates which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Serene was great playing with our son.

Serene arrived early, and my son was comfortable with her within the first two minutes. She had an instant genuineness about her and was quickly and easily able to connect with my 3 year old. She was communicative, sent me updates and photos while I was out, and it is clear she genuinely enjoys spending time with children. As soon as she left, my son asked me when she can come back to play with him. I will most definitely be hiring her again in the future! 

Serene was easy to work with.  She was responsive, prepared and timely.  She sent updates and gave us great peace of mind while she cared for our little one.  Will look to book Serene again!

Could not recommend Serene more highly. She arrived on time, kept the peace between our kids (6 and 8), was playful, with an eye to keeping things in order, and built sufficient trust with our youngest during that first visit that she went to bed without drama (even though she's been scared to go to sleep in recent weeks). Serene works at a school during the days and has kind of a teacher vibe that my kids enjoy (and which brings me comfort as an overprotective helicopter parent :)

This was our first time using a sitter and Serene sent updates with photos several times during the night to put our minds at ease so that we could actually enjoy our night out. She's definitely going to be our go-to sitter from now on. This won't be a hard sell with our kids as they are already looking forward to having her come back. Thank you, Serene!

Serene was fantastic with my daughter. She was on time, fun and, playful and even calmed down my crazy dog. We look forward to having her back again soon!

Serene has been an amazing babysitter for my 4 year old this summer. She is reliable and a good communicator (always confirming she’ll show up and texting updates and questions while I’m away.) My son is excited to see her at the door and says she “plays better” than many babysitters, especially at hide and seek and reading stories. I am confident she is giving him lits of care and attention. Would definitely hire again.

Serene was amazing with my kids (7 and 9). The 9 year old also was invited to a last minute soccer game during the babysitting time and Serene picked him up for us which made our lives easier. She also made sure that both kids got some great play time outdoors and she played their favorite board games. Both my kids said that they'd love to have Serene babysit again and we plan to hire her again in the future.

Serene was a great find when we needed someone to pick up our two children after school(s) and bring them home. She juggled the logistics like a pro and made sure they were fed and happy by the time we got home. Would definitely recommend!

Serene is a wonderful sitter! We would recommend her and definitely make use of her services again. Our son was very happy to have Serene as a sitter. 

Serene baby sat for our 11 month old for date night. She had a very calm and experienced vibe, it didn't phase her one bit when we told her that our baby can be difficult with strangers. Thankfully our baby slept the entire time, however, Serene made me feel confident we were leaving our child in safe hands! She even checked in throughout the night to let me know how things were going.

This was our first time with Serene and she was wonderful with our 1.5 yr old. She made him feel comfortable right away and engaged him well through the day. We greatly appreciated that she shared updates and pictures during the day.

Serene was very helpful and careful taking our kid, who is only 2 and half and cant speak english well. She is patience and be very willing to talk and play with the kids.

Serene was wonderful! She cared for my daughter while she was recovering from minor surgery. Serene was in close contact before her shift and arrived on time. She and my daughter spent the day together playing and doing arts and crafts. Serene followed my instructions and my daughter genuinely seemed to enjoy her company. We hope to see her again!

Serene was on time and communicative throughout the time she was with us. She was great with supervising naps and playing with our baby, would recommend!

Serene did a wonderful job watching our 16 month old girl! It was our first time hiring a sitter and I was nervous. She immediately put me at ease!
