About Serena
Experience: 6 yrs
I graduated from Dartmouth College with an honors degree in Computer Science modified with Neuroscience in the top 5% of my graduating class, and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. My academic work focused on cognitive neuroscience and the science of learning, including research on how students build understanding and retain information over time. That work continues to shape how I approach tutoring today. I'm especially interested in how learning becomes more effective when instruction is aligned with how each student thinks.
