About Serena

Nurturing young minds is my passion, and I have five years of experience providing attentive childcare. This includes working as a substitute teacher, a teachers aide, a 1:1 aide in an SEL classroom, an afterschool program site supervisor, a childcare coordinator, and a summer camp director. Ive worked with many different families, schools, teachers, and children during this time. Including children with disabilities, ASD, and much more. I find immense joy in fostering children's growth and offering families a dependable care option. I am comfortable caring for one child at a time and happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational crafts and activities with children. Also enforcing household rules and always follow the parents' preferred communication method, providing regular updates at pickup or via text. I am certified in First Aid Training and CPR Training.
