About Serena

Hi there! My name is Serena, I am a 22-year-old college student living with my family in the Portland area. I have three years of experience as a camp counselor and wilderness guide, and have been babysitting for families around my neighborhood since I was in high school. I love to spend time outside, play sports, or read with kids! I'd describe myself as an outgoing, engaging, and adaptable caretaker. My first babysitting job started when I was a mother's helper at 14, and found so much joy in working with children. I love to support kids creativity and spontaneous silliness. In my spare time, I like to read, go hiking, rock climbing, running, and bake (especially bread and cakes!). I am available for all kinds of help this summer, have a flexible schedule and my own transportation, so feel free to reach out! I am happy to take care of pets as well, the more the merrier. I have valid first aid, wilderness first responder, CPR, and lifeguard certification.
