About Nora

I'm Nora.. I'm currently living in the Gorge and have spent the last two years primarily focused on my graduate research on the integration of environmental education and movement psychology, and its influence on youth development. I studied Outdoor Education in undergrad, and the last 9ish years since, I have worked various outdoor education jobs and have had many caretaking positions, primarily in the Tetons. I been a nanny and babysitter on and off since I was in high school. I have also worked with kids from 0-17 in many different environments including summer camps: paddling, climbing, biking; wilderness therapy, babysitting, and ski instructing. I have a niece who is 13 and a nephew who is 11, both which I have had significant time caring for when I am home. I really enjoy being outside and getting kids exposed to the outdoors and nature, and know it's importance in their lives. Happy to chat more about my personal experience!
