About Me Hi! I'm Selina -- a bilingual (Mandarin & English) tutor, caregiver, and pet lover currently based in NYC. I've lived in the U. S. for over 12 years and hold a Bachelor's degree from Wake Forest University, where I double-majored in Mathematical Business and Economics. I also earned my Master's in Financial Engineering from UCLA on a merit-based scholarship. I'm now running my own business, which gives me a flexible schedule -- and I'm looking to take on side work that's both meaningful and natural for me. I've been tutoring since high school, and I'm confident working with students of different ages and learning styles. I tailor each session to help the student feel confident and engaged. I'm patient, attentive, and always aim to make learning a positive experience. Beyond tutoring, I'm also happy to provide caregiving or pet sitting -- I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids and animals, and I take a calm, responsible approach to both.
