About Sedona

Hi there! My name is Sedona and I teach high school Biology, General Science, and Math. I hold certifications from the state of Connecticut in General Science and Biology and graduated with Dean's List for two semesters from the University of Vermont. I am looking for part-time work over the summer (up to 30 hours). I have over seven years of experience in early childhood education and 3+ in secondary education. As a former nanny, tutor, and camp counselor (and current teacher), I like to say that my tutoring is a blend of fun, inquiry-based teaching and learning and strong alignment to curriculum and standards. I bring my best to every lesson and have seen incredible results in my students' academic skills AND confidence. I look forward to hearing from you!
