About Sedona

I started watching kids when I became the oldest child of 4! At the age of 14 I began to work at a day care where I worked with ages 1-8 y/o. I changed diapers, facilitated meals, snacks, nap time, crafts and taught the children colors and numbers! I worked at that job until I left for the Navy at 18! In the Navy, I learned first aid skills such as CPR and wound care. After the Navy, I have held a few nannying roles for families with 3 children ages 5 months to 5 years old including taking care of children with special needs. Additionally I worked part time in a day care for ages 2 m/o to 8 y/o. I am a grad student at NYU where I take night classes working towards my degree in Mental Health counseling. I have taken child development and parenting courses and I am passionate about the growth of children! My goal is to be a child psychologist. My 3 best qualities are compassion, patience and communication and I'd describe my personality as bubbly, energetic, and caring!
