For nine years, I have been helping students thrive. My graduate degree and certified teacher status equip me to guide middle schoolers through math challenges. I focus on building confidence and fostering a love for learning. I actively listen to students and observe how they engage with new material. I vary my teaching strategies, incorporating visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions. I celebrate small successes and break down complex problems into manageable steps. Communication is essential. It helps me understand student needs, track progress, and set clear expectations. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is incredibly rewarding. Seeing their confidence grow as they master new skills is the best part of my job. I am comfortable tutoring online, at the library, at a community center, or at a coffee shop.
