Child care has played an important role in my life for more than 15 years. As a teenager, I babysat regularly for families in my community. As a college student, I nannied during summers and throughout the school year. From 2019-2021, I was an elementary/middle school teacher's assistant, working primarily with neurodiverse students. In 2022, I earned a graduate degree in Early Childhood Education. Until my recent move to the Minneapolis area, I worked in a mixed-age day care, which provided a home-like environment, a focus on creative play, the development of life skills, and time spent in nature. At this time, I'm seeking a part-time position caring for a single newborn or infant. I am also open to light housework, such as laundry, food prep, and running errands. Optimally, the position would have a consistent weekly schedule, and allow for occasional, prearranged time off.
