About Savannah

I'd describe my personality as calm, humorous and lighthearted One thing you should know about me is, I have a very unique style when it comes to kids. I don't fall under the "gentle parenting" category, however I fully believe in emotional support during teachable moments. My main priority is for kids to feel safe, have fun, and grow! Some of my skills are... Co- regulation; during my time at CCH we learned the importance of analyzing our feelings before responding or interacting with the kiddos. This allowed us to put things in perspective and best help the child work through their feelings with them. Situational awareness; I am always scanning the environment and ensuring a safe, and fun space for kids to be kids. Hurdle helping; hand in hand with co regulation, but being able to allow the kids to make mistakes and not solve the problem for them but offer some aid to allow them to fully conquer their own task.
