About Savannah

Hi! I am a recent UCSD grad who graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor's of science in human biology. I am taking a gap year before applying to medical schools next spring. I would love to stay in San Diego during this time. I volunteered at a memory care facility for two years during high school where I worked with seniors with neurodegenerative diseases. While at UCSD, I did research in a lab studying the role of mitochondrial movement in Alzheimer's. I also have been working at Del Mar Dermatology as a medical assistant for the past year which has given me a great deal of patient care experience, especially since most of our patients are older. I am vaccinated and CPR/first aid certified.
