About Savannah
Experience: 6 yrs
Hi there! I am Savannah, a former first grade teacher, certified in k-5 education. I worked as a nutrition educator for k-6 for one year, an assistant first grade teacher for three years, and then after receiving my masters in teaching, I worked as a first grade teacher for the next two. Currently, I am both a stay at home mom and restaurant owner with my chef husband. I am seeking returning to the education career in a part time capacity again as a tutor, because I love and miss working with kids! I genuinely enjoyed teaching and miss it all the time, watching kids grow and learn through interactive and engaging lesson plans is something I am deeply passionate about. I have experience with highly capable students, neurodivergent students, and am best suited for students needing a math or reading tutor.
