About Tiffany

I'm a homeschool mom and educator with 6+ years of experience teaching elementary and middle school students. I create lesson plans, assessments, and learning activities and have experience with Master Books, BJU Press, Notgrass, and secular curricula. I believe ALL students can be successful when we understand how they learn. My heart is especially drawn to students with academic challenges. I'm a fair but tough tutor who believes in encouragement, accountability, and meaningful expectations. I especially enjoy teaching executive functioning skills. I use constructivist, cognitivist, and behaviorist approaches and adapt my teaching to each student. I enjoy technology, but I also value an old-school approach using physical textbooks, handwriting, and note-taking. I'm open to all elementary and middle school subjects, with special interests in English and History. I'm currently studying Special Education and expanding my knowledge of diverse learning needs.
