About Savannah

Hi there! I am a School Age Services professional with 10+years of experience supervising and directing K-8 before-school/after-school and summer camp programs for the City of Lakewood. I was employed as a camp counselor for a specialized camp, which provides care for adults and children with special needs and disabilities. I was also a Nanny/Household Manager for a family with two children for 4 years. I am successful handling emergency situations and meeting immediate health care needs and I am passionate about providing a positive environment where children of all ages can develop socially, emotionally and physically. I am an energetic, creative, responsible child care provider and can successfully establish and maintain regular communication with families and parents. I focus on connecting and understanding a child by actively engaging in outdoor fun, crafts, games as well as enrichment and educational activities. I encourage empathy, respect for others and independence.
