About Sasha

I am currently the nanny to a 9-year-old boy, 7-year-old boy with down syndrome, and a 4-year-old girl! Unfortunately they are moving soon so I am looking for a new position! I'm so sad to say goodbye but ready for a new adventure! I was a nanny of two little girls before my current family for 7 years until they both started school so it was time for me to move on to the next family. I still visit them! Before the girls, I cared for twin boys until they moved, a nanny of a little boy before that, boy/girl twins before that (until I moved), and a new born baby boy before that until they moved away! I keep in touch with just about every family I have nannied for! I absolutely love what I do and I love teaching and spending my time with children! In my off time, I often spend time with children I previously cared for or beg my brother or sister-in-law to have their kids for the weekend! I also spend time with my family, husband, and my two doggies. Doing what I do is an absolute dream!

Sasha has been with our family since our third child turned 3 months old and has been a full-time nanny for the three kids over the past 4 years. Two of our children are in elementary school so Sasha cared for the youngest all day and all three of them after school, during school days off, summertime and when they are home sick. Sasha is a kid-at-heart and clearly loves kids. She plays games with them, plays with toys, sings to them and teaches them developmentally appropriate things. In addition to play time at home, she takes them to the park, library, farm, indoor playground/trampoline park, etc. and transports them to/from activities, sports and camps. Sasha has a natural ability while caring for three young kids including our middle child with Down syndrome who sometimes has additional needs. Most importantly, the kids really enjoy their “Sasha Days” and are excited to spend time with her. While fun-loving, Sasha exerts authority and rules, and the kids are (for the most part) well-behaved around her. We are sad to lose Sasha as our nanny as we embark on a new adventure out of the area. She has been a lifeline for our busy family, and we wish her the best with her next family.
