About Sara

I grew up in Squirrel Hill where I attended a private elementary and middle school and then went on to attend Allderdice for high school. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Pittsburgh where I graduated Magna Cum Laude and received my Bachelors in Applied Developmental Psychology and immediately went onto receive my Masters in Education. I also have two certifications which include the Pennsylvania PK-4 General Education and PK-8 Special Education certifications. Through my college career I have had experience teaching children in Pre-K-4th grade as well as learning support for children in 4th and 5th grade through PPS. I have 5 years of teaching experience and working with students in 1st-7th grade including those with specific learning needs by accommodating academic and emotional specifications. I have the most experience with Language Arts and Math teaching. I would love to help out with after school tutoring and homework help!
