About Sara

Last year, I worked for an elderly woman while I was in school primarily as a housekeeper, but it turned into so much more as time went by. As a relationship grew between us, I became more of a companion and personal assistant. I cherish the time I spent with her, even when it was difficult. She had an extreme personality that had cut her off from several people in her life but I was able to find the patience to be with her on the hardest days. I learned a lot from her about hard work and perseverance. There is a wealth of experience we can learn from our elders, and I wish more young people took the time.
