Nannying is my favorite job I have had yet. I am young at heart and love to be running around and having fun. I also believe that fun has limits and my job is to keep the children safe and engaged. I love to do fun projects like all kinds of crafts, cooking with the kids, swimming, making blanket forts, running errands, going on walks, taking kids to sports and activities, making doing the dishes fun, going to the library, and occasionally treating the kids to an ice cream after the pool. I am not one of the nannies sitting by the pool tanning. I like to be in the water throwing a ball or teaching kids how to swim! I've been working with children since I was about 13 or 14. I worked at an after school daycare for kids k-12. I have nannied two families in the last four years, and I would've stayed with them if my schedule and location had not changed. Sarah provided amazing care for my 4 kids for several years. They are actually so sad to not have her be part of our summer even though they are teenagers now! She did a great job of engaging them in activities to keep them active, leaning and using their imagination. She’s prompt, a good communicator and we fully trusted her with the care of our kids. We appreciated her upbeat personality and flexibility as she adjusted to our kids changing schedules.
