About Rachel

Hello! My name is Rachel, and I've been caring for children in both structured programs and private homes for several years. I spent three years providing after-school care with a non-profit and two years nannying for families while in college. I currently work as a coach for an insurance company, where I get to teach and help others learn-skills that carry over into childcare through patience, creativity, and organization. I love working with kids because their curiosity and energy make every day exciting. Whether it's helping with homework, preparing healthy meals, or planning fun activities, I strive to create a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment. I also enjoy cooking, keeping a tidy home, and supporting parents with daily routines. In my spare time, I love bowling with my husband, visiting farmers markets and Renaissance fairs, gardening, and spending time with my pets. I bring that same joy and balanced energy into the care I provide for children.
