I'd describe my personality as warm, kind and creative. I like working with kids because they can be so much fun! In my years of working various childcare positions, I've always had a special connection with children that comes naturally. I don't baby talk, I treat them like people. My skills include immersive story book reading, the ability to turn tidying-up into a game, and the power of direct communication. I started working with kids 10 years ago when I was a preschool teacher's assistant. It was my very first job and since then I have nannied, babysat, worked at a summer camp, and taught pottery and basic ASL. I'm looking for a job that is flexible and gets me outside. In my spare time, I like to enjoy the outdoors and practice creativity.
