About Helga

Hi families. Taking good care of children is my passion. I have over 6 years experience teaching in a Montessori preschool, ages 2-5, in Seattle, Washington. Most recently, I have held the roles of lead and assistant teacher in several different homeschool learning groups in Rincón, Puerto Rico. In addition, I have babysat for ages 10 months and older in homes and abroad. I love spending time outdoors with kids, silly times with song and dance, bedtime routines, mealtimes, exploring arts and crafts/ sensory play, reading and imaginative play. My goal is to approach childcare with curiosity, respect, and love. Guiding children with intention and humor helps make our world a better place! I am also certified to teach Zumba fitness to kids.
