I've been both in classroom/home settings working hard to help kiddos grow. I believe the best gift I can give a child is to build a relationship with them in which they not only trust that I care and believe in them but one where I inspire them to believe in themselves and care about others. I love early childhood education because I get to teach tiny humans life and think it's a great honor that I get to play a part in setting the tone for their future. 

Starting my journey with children, I was a lead teacher at an after-school program (K-6) and then transitioned to a children's center where I worked with infants/toddlers in the mornings and preschoolers in the afternoon. After leaving the center, I have had the pleasure to nanny for families over the last decade. I always take in the kids I care for as if they were my own; keeping them safe being my #1 priority!

My hourly rate starts at $25, however, I can be flexible for the right family.

Chelsie is an amazing caregiver! She instantly bonded with my 3-month-old twin girls. She worked for us from Jan-May 2017. She has been a delight in the short time we have known her and we are very sad to lose her. Chelsie has a very calm character that was hugely important when working with infant twins, I never felt hesitant leaving her alone with them. She is very responsible, reliable and trustworthy. I highly recommend Chelsie, she is one of a kind and we will miss her!

Chelsie is an awesome babysitter! She is punctual, flexible, and has given us ample notice of when she will not be able to babysit. Even when Chelsie was sick with the flu, she still tried to give us enough notice to find someone else to watch our daughter. Chelsie is also very sweet and kind, and our daughter always asks when Chelsie will babysit again. If you are looking for an outstanding babysitter, and someone your child will adore, Chelsie is the way to go!!!!

She is very caring and loving.  She is very dependable.  Would be a great asset.  She loves children.

She is completely unreliable.  I hired her and she was over an hour late the first day.  Then she took over 4 days to respond to a request I had.  When she did respond, she quit the job giving me 1.5 days notice until her next shift.  She texted to quit the job and said she just couldn't make ends meet with this job. I asked her to please finish out the days until I could find someone else and she never responded.  When she accepted the job, she knew the amount of days and pay that she would get.  She shouldn't have accepted the job if it wasn't enough money for her lifestyle.

Chelsie was literally an answered prayer in our house! She is kind and loving, always punctual, and our children adore her! She has sat for us numerous times now and is always our choice above anybody else! We're very thankful for her!

Chelsie has been watching my son for most of his life.  He's now 20 months and it's so nice to know that someone who is reliable, nurturing, caring and compassionate is with him when I cannot be. I often come home to find them doing arts and crafts, listening to music, playing with toys or cuddling and it warms my heart to know she loves him as much as he loves her.  I highly recommend Chelsie as a nanny for any age. 

Chelsie's love, patience and  understanding for children is amazing!  Rather than just giving care, she develops a relationship with the child and invests her heart and soul in the children she cares for.  She develops long lasting relationships and enjoys (and celebrates!)  seeing the children learn and grow.

Chelsie is GREAT!  We have used a few times and are happy every time - we HIGHLY recommend her!

I have to admit I had my doubts about interviewing someone 21 for my position. As soon as I met Chelsie all of those doubts faded.  Sitting before me was a confident, smart, educated caregiver that impressed me. Chelsie came to the interview better prepared than any of the others I met with and my decision was a tough one. I decided to go with a candidate that lives very close to me and that made the difference for me. I would recommend giving Chelsie an interview, I am sure she will impress you as well.
