About Sarah

I received my Bachelor s degree from the University of South Florida in Microbiology, Bio-Medical Physics, and Public Health. My father has been ill since I was 5, he has had epilepsy, diabetes, as well as Alzheimer s disease and I have been his caregiver since the age of 16. However, upon graduation, I have been my father's primary caregiver- he has epilepsy, Alzheimer's disease, and other conditions. Beginning in high school, I have volunteered at Hawthorne Health and Rehabilitation Center in Brandon for over 6 years(volunteering over 3, 000 hours). Throughout college I took specialized courses in gerontology and provided my care giving services by working with Alzheimer s patients within the local USF area. I have sacrificed my entire life to care for my father and I believe I am well qualified to care for all seniors, especially with debilitation's because I have had about 10 years of hands on experience.
