Empowering young learners to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. With a graduate degree in education from Harvard and 11 years of experience as a certified elementary and ESL teacher, I specialize in creating engaging, supportive environments where elementary students master complex concepts through personalized strategies. I have extensive experience in working with students with IEPs and 504s, which allows me to tailor my approach to meet every student's unique needs. Whether we are tackling math, reading, or study skills, I prioritize building confidence by celebrating small successes and connecting lessons to real-world interests. I believe clear, consistent communication with families is essential for long-term growth. Witnessing that "aha!" moment when a student finally grasps a difficult idea remains the most rewarding part of my work.
