My name is Ashley and I am a graduate of Washington & Jefferson College. I have a degree in Child Development and Education with certification in Elementary Pk-4 and Special Education Pk-8. I also have a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Penn State University. In the past, I have been able to work with a wide variety of students and grade levels. I have worked with general education students and ELL students (Grades: 1-3), gifted students, students with autism, students requiring life skills support, students with down syndrome, students with an emotional disturbance, and students with visual impairments. Through Care. com, I most recently worked with a 3rd grade boy in Wayne with reading and math. I have also worked with two ESL students from the Upper Moreland SD on reading, writing, and math. Professionally, I am currently working for the Spring-Ford Area SD. I strongly believe I have the educational background and classroom experience to assist you and your child.

Ashley is a fantastic tutor. She helped my 5th and 1st grader gain confidence, work ahead and strengthen their study skills. She is communicative, flexible and punctual in addition to being patient but forceful, encouraging and knowledgeable. During parent teacher conferences, my 5th graders teacher mentioned several times that he was impressed with skills that my daughter demonstrated that she had learned from Ashley.
