About Sarah

Hi all! I'm Sarah, and I'm a first year Masters of Social Work student hoping to dedicate some of my off hours to providing excellent care to your awesome kids! I have 8+ years of experience working with kids aged 14 months-12 years. This work has included at-home babysitting as well as work as a literacy tutor, an outdoor educator, and as educational and behavioral support staff at a therapeutic school for children with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. I particularly worked with kids also on the Autism spectrum. As a caregiver and in life, I love all things arts and crafts, nature, and storytelling. I'm passionate about social emotional learning and helping kids navigate their big feelings while also holding firm and compassionate boundaries. I'm adaptable and child-led in my approach: whether your kid wants to run around and catch bugs in the backyard or color quietly in the living room, I'm ready to join in eagerly (and make sure it's all cleaned up by bedtime).
