About Sarah

I am an experienced tutor, former teacher, and curriculum specialist. I am both responsible and creative and strive to provide valuable learning activities tailored to individual student needs. I enjoy teaching individual and small groups in particular. It is fun challenge for me to puzzle out what students may need to progress or what skills are missing. I enjoy finding creative ways to teach a topic. I specialized in distance learning students for 5+ years creating intervention plans and working with families. I want the best for students, believe we all benefit from individualized learning and that my expectations are high because I believe they are achievable. My particular skills include reading difficulties, Phonics, ELA, Visual Arts, and study skills.
