About Cierra

Hi! My name is Cierra, and I'm a licensed educator with a background in both teaching and social work. I currently teach middle school English Language Arts and Reading, where I work with students in middle school to strengthen reading comprehension, writing, critical thinking, and study skills. I specialize in literacy support, including reading fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, essay writing, grammar, and organization. I have experience helping students with different learning styles, confidence levels, and academic needs, and I believe every child can grow when they feel supported, challenged, and understood. My tutoring style is patient, encouraging, and structured. I work to build not only academic skills, but also confidence, independence, and a positive mindset toward learning. I can support with homework help, test preparation, writing assignments, reading intervention, and general study skills.
