I have babysat & nannied for about 14 years. I've also taken several child development classes throughout college. Children are sponges. These are the formative years. It is crucial to set good examples & encourage positive habits. Leading by example, instilling confidence & creativity, constant learning & play, structure & trust-- this is what I am conscious of providing as a nanny. It is not just the children who benefit though; I absolutely love being with kids, because they are consistently showing me new lessons. They remind me what really matters: maintaining joy, presence presence & being in a state of exploration. I teach snowboarding & prefer to teach toddlers and children, because I simply love playing with them. I cherish the moments first brought on by tears of frustration which later turn into pride & a sheer sense of accomplishment. Childhood= the formative years, and they are precious. I'm happy to be a part of so many children's growth!
