About Sarah

Hello there! I'm Sarah, I've spent the last 4 years teaching in 5+ schools (private and public), and spent the last year working as a First Grade Teacher Assistant at P. S. 33. I've taught most subjects to students ranging grade grades K-8th. Prior to in school work, I graduated from The New School with a degree in Interdisciplinary Science and Contemporary Music, and while I intended to go into the hard sciences, I got swept up in the joy and immense passion I have for working with kids! I've spent a few summer's as a nanny, as well as running my own summer STEAM program in Prospect Park. I am passionate about supporting kids as they grow into their own. I am First Aid certified, vaccinated, and have been fingerprinted and had background checks through the DOE. As school is out, I am greatly missing working with kiddos!
