About Sarah

Hello! My name is Sarah, and I began my childcare journey as a babysitter and later worked in early childhood education, supporting children of diverse ages, backgrounds, and abilities. Alongside my childcare experience, I've spent the past several years working in nonprofit development in south Brooklyn. Currently, I am a part-time graduate student at Hunter College pursuing a Master's in Mental Health Counseling. My studies in counseling, and professional and private experience working with children and families inform my caregiving style, which is child-centered, nurturing, and responsive to each child's unique personality and needs. I'm energetic, patient, and creative - I love engaging kids in play, crafts, outdoor activities, and learning moments. I believe in creating a safe, supportive environment where children feel understood and cared for.
